TransUnion Consumer Credit Reports

Select our consumer credit reports, provided by TransUnion – one of the three major credit bureaus – in order to accurately assess your risk in dealing with potential tenants or employees. The report is based on monthly updates from creditors – including banks, credit card companies, mortgage companies, retailers, student loan providers, auto dealerships/finance companies and more – and public records, such as bankruptcies, tax liens, and civil judgments.

Clear Screening offers consumer credit reports for the following purposes ONLY:

Tenant Screening – Credit Profile Report – $14.95

Includes: Personal Information (name, SSN, birthdate, phone, last three addresses), Employment Information (as reported by creditors – not confirmed by employers listed), Report Summary, Collections, Public Records, Trade Lines (account information, payment pattern history, current account status, balances, past due amounts, etc.), and Inquiries. Each Credit Profile Report for Tenant Screening also comes with a free FICO (Fair Issac) credit score.

Employee Screening – Pre-Employment Credit Report – $14.95

Includes: Personal Information (name, SSN, birthdate, phone, last three addresses), Employment Information (as reported by creditors – not confirmed by employers listed), Collections, Public Records, Trade Lines (account information, payment pattern history, current account status, balances, past due amounts, etc.), and Inquiries. The Employment Credit Report for Employee Screening does NOT include the FICO score.

How to request a TransUnion Consumer Credit Report

1. From within your account, select your name or the name of your property from the first dropdown menu.
2. Select TransUnion as the bureau in the second dropdown menu.
3. Select Credit Profile Report (for Tenant Screening) or Pre-Employment Report (for Employee Screening) as the product in the third dropdown menu.
4. For tenant screening only, to screen two people at once (an applicant and co-applicant or husband and wife, etc.) please be sure to click on the radio button marked Joint.*
5. Enter at least last name, first name, SSN, and current address for each applicant.
6. Click on “Submit” at the bottom of the page – the screen will refresh and the report for each applicant will appear.
